Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
Weather: Cool @ about 22deg
Mood: Tired
Weekends are always tiring for us, the parents. On Saturday, we have to ferry our kids to their weekend classes, while on Sunday, we would usually think up a place for they to have some fun.
Yesterday, on my son's request, we went to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum situated in Pudong, which is only about 15 minutes drive away from our home. We reached there in the late morning, had lunch in the food court, and started our exploration of the museum at about 12.30pm. By 5.30pm, we only managed to complete about 80% of the exhibits. We didn't just walk around though, since we decided to watch a 40-min movie on Insects' Life in one of the IMAX cinemas.
Of all the exhibits, our kids enjoyed the Childrens' Technoland most, where they participate in all kinds of technology recreation designed for their age.
Overall, I think it is quite good to bring the kids to explore any museums if you have the time. It is not only educational but it can be also very entertaining for the family.
