We are Proud Property Owner in China :)
Weather: Cloudy
Mood: Excited
Sorry to leave you in the dark for so long. As I’ve been complained, the BLOGSPOT site is often blocked by the China ISP. And being busy in my personal matters, by the time I discovered it is unblocked…. time flies. Hope you haven’t given up reading my blog. :P
Actually, I would still be quite irregular in my updates since I’m busy with house moving matters. We bought an apartment in Shanghai, and the renovation is more or less done. Thus, we are planning to shift into our new apartment by 28-Apr.
Now that we own an apartment in China, we find that being a property owner is quite beneficial. As long as one can produce the 房产证 (aka Housing Ownership Certificate), one can enjoy local public services with ease. For instance, we can apply for our son to enter a local school since he is of age to receive primary education and we applied our phone line without placing a 600RMB deposit. :D
Interesting Info:
In China, even 房产证 can be faked. Therefore, the picture below was used to educate the public in authenticating 房产证.

Quote from Boy, "What is Hanyu Pinyin? Why is it different pronounciation from what I've learnt so far?" ~puzzled~
........ my poor boy is totally confused in his Bi-lingual learning.
