Life Goes On
Weather: Fine
Mood: Serene
Recently, I received a message sent by ME… yes… sent by ME. I generated this message using FutureMe.org . And the message written by me a year ago simply carried 2 words, “I survived.”
If you go back to my earlier posts, you might have noticed my discontentment and dissatisfaction with life in Shanghai, basically stemmed from interaction with the crude cultures and customs of the locals. However, after more than a year, I am kind of accustomed with certain local habits and I even learn to tackle some of them. For instance, I am more inquisitive when I buy things, I rather spend a little more to buy from reliable source, I avoid visiting crowded places that I might get pushed about, I procrastinate when someone cut my queue, and I am numb to inconsiderate ones who spit right in front of me. ~shrugs~
Besides, having my social circle expanded help too, since my newly acquired friends could help to free my mind from occasional restlessness with the gatherings they arranged.
Anyway, I am happy that I am getting more accustomed to life away from home. Perhaps one day, if I am comfortable enough, I might even treat this country as my home. :P

Quote from Boy, "Daddy not home tonight?"
..... whenever my hubby is not home, my boy will assumed he has flown off somewhere.

You sound like a completely self-hating Asian person. I am not surprised your husband is White, you reek of White worship and love to bash your own culture and people in order to assimilate with your husband better and fuel his ego. You suffer from a major inferiority complex as an Asian person, and rectify this by thinking you are White internally, your identity is so distant from feeling Asian that you feel comfortable having racist thoughts against your own people.
You are PATHETIC.
